The webmaster contacted Kevin Furlong about the FOIAs shown below.  He didn't want to talk with me, but indicated the November 2002 FOIA is still being processed.  Congressman Larry Smith is involved (he's supposed to be a champion in the House to get the FOIA strengthened).  That's over three years the Air Intelligence Agency has ignored this request.  Captain amErika is still being protected.

The Freedom of Information Act (5 USC 552) allows Americans greater access to data held by agencies that would rather not provide this information.  The Air Intelligence Agency is one of the places where information would rather be kept hidden.  Take a look at the details below and see how Colonel John Diamond at AIA lied and really made an ass of himself with his response to my FOIA letters.

Over the past 18 months, no substantive information was obtained from my complaints submitted to the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force/Inspector General, Col Oldham;  Col Cochran, the Tyndall AFB Inspector General; or  LtCol LeEllen Coacher, the Tyndall AFB Staff Judge Advocate.  (A Freedom of Information Act request has been sent to the Tyndall AFB 'command' section and has been deflected.  Senior officers, including Larry New, do not want to answer this FOIA because it will make his actions look stupid.  Hey Larry, your actions already look stupid.  And the AF/IG is involved because of your lack of cooperation in meeting the requirements of United States law.)  The complaints against Captain amErika have been shunted like a live grenade to LtGen Carlson at 8th Air Force to further the cover-up.  More light is needed on the subject, so Congress and the media have been informed of the hypocrisy.  To find out what these folks have done in the last few months, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests have been sent to various offices to get a status report and see how they have been marking time.

With the FOIA information the Webmaster will discuss the matter with Congressman Lloyd Doggett and provide him with several questions to ask the Air Force.  I'm not going to bother with talking with the Air Force directly any more.  All my letters will be sent through Congressman Doggett or my media representative - so they can be published in a paper like the Dallas Morning News.  I am contacting veterans organizations in the Austin area to impress upon Congressman Doggett that military veterans do not like violators of the Uniform Code of Military Justice to go unpunished and continue in a leadership position.

Rep Lloyd Doggett (D-Travis County [Austin} Texas)

Discipline and enforcement of Air Force regulations don't seem to apply to Captain amErika.  Seems her transgressions have been ignored by AIA and Tyndall AFB leadership.  Influence is how she operates, a false front that shows her leadership effectiveness.  Why is she still in the Air Force?  Seems some people like how Captain amErika leads from a kneeling position.

Colonel Diamond's Lies and Misinformation - How the Air Intelligence Agency handles FOIA requests

In November and December of last year, I sent Freedom of Information Act requests to the following offices:

Air Intelligence Agency/CC, San Antonio, TX
Air Intelligence Agency/CV, San Antonio, TX
67th Information Operations Group/LtCol (Backbone?) Haege, San Antonio, TX
Det 6, 67th Information Operations Group, Tyndall AFB, FL

Four letters were sent.  I received two letters responding to the FOIA addressed to the AIA/CV.  No other letters were received.  Follow-up letters were sent to AIA which were ignored.  Eventually, complaint letters were sent to the AF/IG and to Congressman Doggett asking for assistance in getting AIA to respond to these FOIA requests.  The complaint letters evoked the following (poorly written) response.

The tone of the letter is clear but not the writing.  One other fact is also clear, there was no fault in his office.  Bullshit.

Let's examine his letter closely and I'll point out the lies.

"We replied to this request on 8 November 2002, . . . "  This is lie number one.  No letter dated 8 November 2002 from AIA was ever received by me.

The second paragraph is amazing.  This is the first inkling that all the AIA FOIA requests had been consolidated.  It only took a letter to the Air Force IG and a Congressional inquiry to have them tell me this tidbit of information.  This shows the true nature of Air Force cooperation and compliance with the Freedom of Information Act.

The third paragraph is also incredible.  Colonel Diamond states that I'm not going to get any Air Force information, just copies of the material I sent to AIA.  That's following the true spirit of the FOIA.

The fourth and last paragraph also shows his desire to close this matter.  Naturally, this has been a big problem for him and makes him look bad.

Let's make him look worse.  In his letter he indicates AIA responded with three letters; one dated 8 Nov 02, one dated 10 Dec 02 and the third dated 16 Dec 02.  His first lie was about the November 8th letter - there was no such letter.  Here is a copy of the 10 Dec 02 letter:

The important aspects of this letter are:

First paragraph - This letter responds only to the AIA/CV FOIA request.

Fourth paragraph - THIS LETTER requests a response from me indicating a willingness to pay assessable costs.  This type of request about fees is put in the initial letter responding to a FOIA.  Colonel Diamond said a letter was sent on November 8th requesting this, a letter I never received;  if it ever existed.

Here is the letter from AIA dated December 16, 2002:

The important aspects of this letter are:

First paragraph - Once again the ONLY FOIA mentioned is the once to AIA/CV.

Third paragraph - The last sentence in the paragraph states a copy of the 8 November 02 letter is attached.  It was not.  However, there was a letter attached, a very bad copy of the 10 December letter.  This strengthens my belief that there was no 8 November letter and someone is trying to mask a screw-up.

RECAP -

Diamond lied about the 8 November 02 letter.

Diamond tried to dodge any fault for not responding to my inquiries regarding the FOIAs sent to AIA/CC, 67th IOG/Haege, and Det 6, 67th IOG.  He screwed up.  The only FOIA ever mentioned in the cited correspondence was the one sent to AIA/CV.  Liar.

Diamond also chides me for not responding to the 8 November 02 letter asking for a response 'indicating a willingness to pay fees' for the FOIA information.  Since there was no letter, the lack of response is hardly surprising.  Diamond is a real pissant and is clearly trying to avoid the blame for this mess.  I'm sure his superiors were very pleased to have the Air Force Inspector General and a Congressional inquiry dumped in their lap for failing to respond to three FOIAs.  So Diamond lied to make things look better and deflect the fault to me.  Hey Diamond, your lie is exposed.  You fucked up and you really look bad now.  Expect a call or a letter from the AF/IG and Congressman Doggett to expose your lie and cover-up to your boss.  This would be an appropriate time to send a follow-up letter to me and apologize.  That might show some integrity.  But, since you have none, expect the calls.  You reflect Air Force integrity at it's best.  Truth, integrity, honor, - it doesn't exist.  Diamond, you're just another careerist trying to cover his ass.

And I'm still waiting for the files . . .
